In 2025, we joyously mark the 20th year of the Montana Silversmiths Pursuit of Excellence Scholarship. Since its inception in 2005, we have granted over $150,000 in scholarships to students who exemplify the quintessential Western values - resilience, integrity, and an unwavering commitment to growth.
Eligibility for the Scholarship
The Pursuit of Excellence Scholarship is open to high school seniors and existing college students registered in an accredited 2 or 4-year:
- College or University
- Community College
- Vocational School
- Other forms of Post-Secondary Education
We are seeking students who are fervent about agriculture, the Western lifestyle, and those who consistently strive to be their best selves. At Montana Silversmiths, we firmly believe in the importance of investing in the future to make a significant impact on the present. This scholarship is our way of showing gratitude to the communities and individuals who inspire us daily.

Contrary to conventional scholarships, the Pursuit of Excellence does not prioritize the highest GPA or the most sports achievements. Instead, it values:

Scholarship Application Timeline
The application process is currently underway! To commemorate our 20th anniversary of the Pursuit of Excellence, we are thrilled to confer five scholarships in 2025.

The deadline for applications is August 15, 2025, and the successful applicants will be announced on September 25, 2025.
