Allen Tittle's Medical Malpractice Scholarship

The Allen Tittle Medical Malpractice Awareness Scholarship is a commendable initiative that seeks to provide financial assistance to those impacted by medical malpractice, while simultaneously raising awareness about this critical issue. This scholarship, which is awarded recurrently, offers $1,000 to aid one incoming or continuing college student with their tuition expenses. We encourage all eligible students to apply and eagerly anticipate reviewing each unique application. Best of luck to all applicants!
Eligibility Criteria
- The scholarship is accessible to any current high school senior, college student, or graduate student who is a legal resident of the United States, residing in one of the 50 states or the District of Columbia, and who is enrolled in a two to five-year post-secondary institution for the Fall 2025 semester.
- Employees of Tittle & Perlmuter, their immediate families (parent, child, sibling, and spouse), and individuals residing in the same households as these employees (regardless of their relationship), are not eligible to participate in this competition.
- Applicants for this scholarship should maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher and should be in good overall academic standing.
Application Requirements
- Applicants are required to submit an essay of 500 to 600 words in response to the following prompt: Why do you believe it's crucial to be a patient advocate in today's healthcare industry? If applicable, describe an instance when you or someone you know received substandard medical care and what lessons were learned from that experience.
- Applicants must also submit a professional resume detailing their academic and professional experiences.
- Submission of a transcript from the applicant's current school is mandatory. First-year college students, graduate students, or individuals who have recently transferred schools may submit an unofficial transcript from their current school, along with the most recent official transcript from their previous school. High school students are also required to submit proof of acceptance to their college or university.
The recipient of the Allen Tittle Medical Malpractice Scholarship will be selected in the month following the scholarship deadline.
