At CodeWizardsHQ we believe a stronger STEM future grows from diversity — and that diversity requires equitable access to higher education. To help students reach their goals, we offer the CodeWizardsHQ Educational Scholarship.
Timeline
- Apply online between September and May for funding for the following Fall semester.
- The scholarship recipient is announced in August.
- Submit all documents online only — do not mail materials.
Who may apply
- High school seniors and incoming college freshmen
- Minimum GPA: 3.5
- Priority given to applicants planning to study in a STEM program
- Must be a U.S. citizen and resident of the United States
Required application materials Please attach all documents to your online application:

Proof of financial need
- Submit one of the following:
- A copy of your school’s financial aid award letter (if you receive it before the application deadline), or
- Documentation of household income (for example, last year’s tax return or FAFSA) plus a detailed estimate of your expected tuition-related costs (tuition, books, fees, etc.).
- Submit one of the following:

Recommendation letter
- One letter from a teacher or school counselor addressing your character, background, and financial need.

Statement of purpose
- Up to 600 words answering: “Beyond needing financial support, why do you deserve this scholarship?”

Curriculum vitae (CV)
- A summary of your experience, activities, and relevant skills.

Unofficial high school transcript
- A copy of your current transcript.

Optional video
- A short video (under 2 minutes) explaining your need and how the scholarship would help you move forward.
