Quick overview — who may enter the $2,000 Sallie Mae Scholarship:
First, you must meet the residency and age requirement at the time you submit your entry:
- Be a legal resident of one of the 50 United States, the District of Columbia, or any U.S. territory; and
- Be age 17 or older.
Second, in addition to the residency/age requirement, you must meet one of the following four conditions at the time of entry:
1. You are a parent with a child currently enrolled in an accredited college or university located within the United States.
2. You are a student currently enrolled in an accredited college or university located within the United States.
3. You are a parent with a child who is currently a high school senior in the United States.
4. You are a high school junior or senior in the United States who intends to enroll in an accredited college or university located within the United States within one year of graduating high school.
