This could mean alleviating financial stress following a severe injury, advocating for a parent's right to spend more time with their children, or vindicating someone falsely accused. Many of us are driven by the intellectual rigor that comes with practicing law. The research, discourse, and argumentation that are integral to this profession are what initially drew us to the study of law. In an effort to support the next generation of legal professionals, our firm is proud to offer the Aspiring Attorney Scholarship. We find immense satisfaction in our work as attorneys and are eager to give back to our community. We hope that this $1,000 award will help alleviate some of the financial strain associated with higher education for a dedicated future attorney. We are interested in learning about your specific area of interest in law and why you believe you would excel as a lawyer. If you have engaged in any law-related extracurricular activities, we would love to hear about those as well!

We recognize that the financial barriers to becoming an attorney can be daunting, and we hope to help mitigate that challenge through this scholarship for one committed student. ELIGIBILITY

• The scholarship is available to any current high school senior, vocational student, college student or graduate student who is a legal resident of the United States residing in one of the 50 states or the District of Columbia and who is enrolled in a vocational program or two to four year post-secondary institution for the 2025 Spring semester.
• Employees of The Law Offices of Doroshow, Pasquale, Krawitz & Bhaya, their immediate families (parent, child, sibling, and spouse), and persons living in the same households of such individuals (whether related or not), are not eligible to participate in the competition.
• Applicants for this scholarship should maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher and be in good overall academic standing.

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

• Applicants must complete the form below with all necessary information.
• Applicants must submit a 750-1,000 word essay response to the prompt: What area of law are you specifically interested in practicing in and why? Why do you think you would make a good lawyer?
• Please be aware that all essays will be checked for AI writing. If AI writing is detected in the essay, the application will be disqualified.
• Applicants must submit a professional resumé that lists their experience, both professional and academic.
• Applicants must submit a transcript from their current school. First-year college students, graduate students, or individuals who have recently transferred schools may submit an unofficial transcript from their current school, as well as the most recent official transcript from their prior school. High school students must also submit proof of acceptance to their college or university.
• Preference will be given to students either from or attending secondary school in the state, but students from across the nation are welcome and encouraged to apply.
