AGMA Foundation Scholarship Program
Scholarship Sponsored by AGMA Foundation
Make a difference — help launch an engineering career
The AGMA Foundation awards scholarships to outstanding engineering students at the Associate/Technical, Undergraduate, and Graduate levels to help address the need for skilled professionals in the gear, bearing, and power transmission industry. You can also help by contributing to the AGMA Foundation Scholarship Program.
How to submit
- TYPE all responses.
- Assemble your application and supporting materials and send them in one email to foundation@motionpower.org.

Materials that must be sent directly to the Foundation
- Two letters of recommendation
- We recommend one letter from an employer and one from a faculty member.
- Letters from employers in the gear, bearing, and/or power transmission industry and faculty in engineering, math, or science are weighted more heavily.
- Letters must be emailed directly to foundation@motionpower.org by the recommender. The sender’s email address must match the name on the letter. Letters submitted by the applicant will not be considered.
- Official transcript
- An official transcript from your most recent school (high school or institution of higher learning) certified by the registrar or other authorized official.
- High school transcripts are required only for technical/associate-level applicants and for students in their first year of undergraduate study.
- Transcripts must be marked “official.” Unofficial copies will not be accepted. Transcripts may be sent with your application or sent directly to the Foundation.
Deadline reminder
All application materials, including transcripts and recommendation letters, must be received by the MPMA Foundation office (via email to foundation@motionpower.org) no later than 5:00 pm ET on Tuesday, June 16, 2026.
