Why this matters
- Scholarships do more than pay bills. They open doors. HITEC Scholars receive financial aid, mentorship from industry professionals, and help finding internships and career opportunities.
- Since the scholarship program began in 2017, we have awarded 514 scholarships totaling $1,518,000.

Who can apply
Applicants must:
- Be a graduating high school senior, a current undergraduate, or a graduate student.
- Have a minimum 3.0 GPA (on a 4.0 scale).
- Be majoring in — or planning to major in — a technology or technology-related field.
- Be a U.S. citizen, a permanent legal resident, or have active Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) status.

Award amount
- Scholarship awards are up to $5,000 and must be used for educational expenses.

Program administration
- To ensure impartial selection and professional handling, the HITEC Foundation Scholarship program is administered by International Scholarship and Tuition Services, Inc. (ISTS), an independent company that manages sponsored educational assistance programs.
