Charles and Phyllis Frias Legacy Scholarship

High school seniors residing in Clark, Esmeralda, Lincoln, or Nye County, Nevada, who have a GPA between 2.0 and 3.6 and are in need of financial assistance, are encouraged to apply for this scholarship opportunity. The scholarship is designed for students who are committed to pursuing a four-year degree at a college or university on a full-time basis. Each year, five scholarships will be awarded, each worth up to $25,000. The scholarship is renewable annually, potentially providing a total of $100,000 over four years, provided the recipient maintains full-time enrollment and a cumulative GPA of at least 2.0.
Before the scholarship funds are disbursed, recipients will be required to verify their college enrollment with a class schedule during the summer. The scholarship funds are intended to be used for tuition, fees, and other relevant educational expenses. The funds will be distributed evenly over two semesters.
