Texas Scholarship of Academic Excellence

It is with great pleasure that the law firm of Anderson & Cummings announces the yearly Texas Scholarship of Academic Excellence. This scholarship is designed to support full-time students who are currently pursuing a degree at a Texas-based university or college and have shown exceptional leadership skills and high ethical standards either on campus or within their local community.
Eligibility and Application Guidelines:
To be considered for this scholarship, students must meet the following criteria:
- Applicants must be currently enrolled and attending a university or college within the state of Texas.
- Applicants must be able to provide a letter of recommendation from a faculty member of their university or college, or a respected member of their community.
- Applicants must demonstrate exceptional leadership skills, as evidenced by their involvement in campus or community activities.
- Applications must be fully completed. Incomplete applications will not be considered, and applicants will not be contacted to provide missing information.
- Applicants are required to write and submit an essay of 500 to 1,500 words on a topic selected by our firm. If the applicant has a particular interest in law or the justice system, they are encouraged to incorporate this into their essay.
- The essay must be submitted in a .PDF format, with the file named in the following format: lastname_firstname_sac.pdf
