Criteria for Eligibility
To be considered for this opportunity, there are several requirements that must be met.
1. The applicant must be a student at a high school located within the United States. This includes a variety of school types such as public, private, charter, magnet, and STEM schools.
2. If the applicant is not a U.S. citizen, they must demonstrate fluency in the English language.
3. The applicant must be a member of the graduating class of their high school.
4. The applicant must have achieved a commendable academic record, with an unweighted cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 3.50 or higher, based on a 4.0 grading scale.
5. Following high school graduation, the applicant must be enrolled in an eligible four-year college or university for the upcoming fall semester.
6. The applicant must be committed to completing their undergraduate degree within four years or less.
7. The applicant must demonstrate a strong work ethic, having worked at least 240 hours between January 1 and September 1 prior to the start of the fall semester of each academic year. This work must be regularly scheduled, supervised, and compensated employment, which can be either full-time or part-time.
8. The applicant's parents' Adjusted Gross Household Income, as reported for the 2024 Federal Income Tax purposes, must not exceed $100,000.
9. While it is not required for applicants to provide Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) information initially, finalists will be required to do so.
