- Who it serves: immigrant students living in Washington, D.C., parts of Maryland and Virginia

Eligibility — quick checklist
- Nationality
- You must either be born outside the United States or have two parents who were born outside the United States.
- There are no citizenship requirements (immigration status does not disqualify you).
- K–12 / recent graduates
- You must be one of the following:
- A graduating high school senior in the eligible geographic region; OR
- A high school graduate within the past three (3) years who has not yet started college and who resides in the eligible geographic region; OR
- A person who earned a GED within the last three (3) years and resides in the eligible geographic region.
- Geographic region (must live in one of these)
- Washington, D.C.
- Virginia: Fairfax County, Arlington County, Prince William County, Loudoun County, City of Fairfax, City of Alexandria, City of Falls Church
- Maryland: Montgomery County, Prince George’s County
- Enrollment plan
- You must plan to enroll full-time in one of the following:
- An accredited community college to pursue an Associate’s degree; OR
- An accredited college or university to pursue a Bachelor’s degree

- Application deadlines:
- Bachelor’s degree applicants: February 1, 2025
- Associate’s degree applicants: April 1, 2025
- Interviews: Sunday, May 4, 2025 and Saturday, May 10, 2025
- Winners announced: Sunday, May 11, 2025
