This award is designed to support full-time Delaware undergraduates who are pursuing bachelor’s degrees in fields where Delaware needs more trained professionals. If you’re planning a career in one of the listed high-need areas, this could be a good fit.
Who can apply
- Delaware resident
- U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen
- Enrolled full time in a bachelor’s degree program at a Delaware public or private college
- Meeting your college’s Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) policy

Award details
- Amount: $5,000 per year
- Not automatically renewable, but you may reapply each year
- Awards are subject to funding from the General Assembly
- Based on funding and the applicant pool, at least one student in each high-need field will be awarded annually

1. Complete the online application.
2. File the FAFSA before the deadline.

- All application materials must be submitted by 4:30 p.m. on 05/15/2024.
